Carlos M. Echeverri

In Memory of

Carlos M. Echeverri
1958-2004

Carlos M. Echeverri, 45,
died in Easton Hospital on January 25th after a six-month illness with cancer. An overflow crowd filled St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Easton for his memorial service.

Carlos came to the USA after completing high school in Colombia and became an integral part of the local soccer scene. He played in the Lehigh Valley Soccer League and the Latin League, and most recently competed in the LVOTSL
O-30 and O-40 divisions with the Jeffs Gold S.C. for nine years. He also coached in the Lehigh Valley Youth Soccer League and became a certified referee.

Carlos is survived by his wife, the former Dora Patricia Bedoya, and four children.

The LVOTSL salutes Carlos Echeverri as an exemplary soccer player and individual who will be sorely missed by the Lehigh Valley soccer community. The league extends its warmest sympathies to his family.
