Meeting was
called to order at 8:17 PM.
Previous
Meeting Minutes:
Minutes from 20 October meeting were read. A correction was made
to the address of the web site. Inca-Peru asked that the word “similar”
be added before “violation” under old business, referring
to their probation. Game commissioner to be notified in addition
to Bill Wagstaff of any schedule changes.
Vice
President’s Report (Bill Wagstaff)
1. Request to Lehigh County for cost breakdown of use of county
fields and lights have gone unanswered.
2. Fields finally playable after payment dispute between electrician
and county resolved.
3. Lights off at 9:30 - Sharp!
4. Starting time on some fields changed to 6:20 to allow time to
complete games and remove nets.
Treasure’s
Report
Web-Site Manager (Fred Farbod)
1. League Dues for 2003-2004 Season in amount of $75.00 to be collected.
2. The leagues checking account balance is at $XXXX and the savings
account contains $XXXX. Copy of itemized expenses in the leagues
financial statement is attached to the minutes.
3. Phoenix fined $10.00 for not reporting 2 games. ($5.00each).
Fine against Deep Run II of $5.00 for not reporting game 18 October.
4. Teams fined $5.00 for not attending meeting 20 August are Deep
Run I, HFA, Deep Run II and Parkland.
5. Game scores need to be reported by 2:00pm Monday following weekend
games.
a. Report scores using web site – Report Game Results.
b. Email results at ffarbod@ix.netcom.com.

6. League would like for referees to report red cards issued during
game to web site (referee game report) in addition to game comminionser
a. Allows teams to verify players suspended before next game played.
7. Updated information for team contacts to passed out at next meeting.
Game Commissioners (Dave Leidig)
1. Game reports being received in timely manner.
2. Questions concerning teams, fields, and/or referee reports can
be made by contacting Dave.
3. Teams responsible to confirm with referees which cards are being
reported in referee reports to game commissioner.
a. Yellow and/or Red cards
i. 2 yellows cards during game (soft red) = 1 Game
ii. Red card (direct) = 2 Games
4. Age eligibility questions should be noted on team roster along
with referee reports.
5. All players’ uniforms must have number on back and corresponds
with (correct) name on roster.
Registrar’s
Report (Alfredo Perez)
1. Player registration forms and team line up sheets available for
download on league web site.
2. Required – Team Cosigner (coach/manager) must sign player
registration form.
Referee
Assignor (Hamdija)
1. No report. Hum attending referee meeting in Philadelphia.
2. Game Parkland vs RCN cancelled by RCN (Saturday AM) not forfeit
– no monies due to referees.
Old
Business (Tim Gilman)
1. An executive board meeting was held prior to general meeting.
Executive board decided the following:
a. 22 November will be make up date for unplayed games from first
half of 2003-2004 Fall season
b. Start of fall season to be played 6 December (weather permitting)
A. Teams play reverse home/away of 6 September schedule
c. Inca-Peru concerns noted by scheduler referring to two travel
away games scheduled back to back
d. Player ineligibility cases reviewed by board along with official
documents currently filed with registrar
A. 4 games in violation
B. Teams in violation have 48hrs to respond with any details/proof
of eligibility to Alfredo
C. Game officially recorded as a forfeit (1-0 loss) to team in violation
and are charged a fine
D. Games in question:
i. 13 September Seniors vs Inca-Peru
ii. 18 October Phoenix vs Cementeros
iii. 25 October Parkland vs Cementeros
iv. 25 October Hostwindows vs HFA
New Business (Tim Gilman)
1. Suggestion to shorten season to 9 or 10 games.
a. Bill Wagstaff to propose 3 options or formats for shorten schedule
b. Each team representative to obtain consensus on each teams positio
2. Motion passed to keep spring schedule with current number of
games played
3. Indoor season at Turff club for Over 40 and Over 30
Note: Additional minutes to be added (I had to leave before conclusion
of meeting)
Next meeting is scheduled for 2 March at the Jeff’s Democratic
Club, 8:00pm.
