Olimpia
Soccer Club Repeats Championship
At
the general meeting of the Lehigh Valley Old-Timers Soccer
League on Aug. 25, 2004 the Olimpia Soccer Club was
recognized as the Division "A" winners and the over-all Champions
of the Over-30 League 2003-04 season.
The
team ended the 22 game season with 17 wins, 2 ties, and only
3 losses. With 53 points they surpassed their nearest opponent
Allentown Sports Club (ASC) by three points.
Olimpia
were also the most offensively successful team in the League
scoring 70 goals for the season.
This
championship is the second consecutive title for Olimpia.
The travelling trophy with Olimpia's name newly engraved
on it was presented to the team manager and coach at the meeting.
Olimpia
team representatives Milton Martinez and
Jose Mendez received the LVOTSL Championship
travelling plaque on behaf of the team.
