Vitkovic and Bill Racines were inducted
into the Lehigh Valley Soccer Hall of Fame during the recent

"Mr. Vic", was selected due to his longtime dedication
to soccer at both the amateur and professional levels. Despite
his age of 71, Vic continues to play as a goalie in the LVOTSL
O-40 division for Jeffs Gold. Also a competitor in the Pocono
Mountain Summer Soccer League, Vic's team won the championship
in 2003. He has also played in the O-30 division, most recently
for Inca-Peru, and in the Lehigh Valley Soccer League for
ASC.
Born in Yugoslavia, he played on the University Select team
and then joined a first division team in Germany for several
years until an injury forced his early retirement. Mr. Vic
works and lives at the Taniment Resort in the Poconos.
Racines has been involved in local soccer for many years as
a player, coach and administrator. Originally from Ecuador,
he competed in the LVOTSL O-40 and
O-30 divisions for Western Lehigh. He continues to play informally
at the O-40 and O-50 levels. He has also held coaching and
leadership positions in the Western Lehigh Youth Association
and the Latin League.

and athletic distinction. The Lehigh Valley Soccer Scholar
